Welcome back to a wintery Term 3 to all Quintilian families and staff.  I hope everyone enjoyed the three week mid-year break, the first in a two year trial aimed at allowing staff and students additional time to recharge for the second half of the year.

You will read in this newsletter many of the events and activities that are happening around our community this Term.  Please consider reviewing the school calendar that was emailed out last week and schedule in any of the upcoming events that interest you.

Earlier in the year we presented, via the newsletter, an ‘Alumni Story’ about Sally Thompson who graduated from Quintilian in 1988 and shared her Quintilian memories with us as well as some of her ensuing life experiences.

Sally’s Story

The alumni stories are aimed at re-connecting with past students and to assist current students in relating with the school’s history.  The Alumni have been asked to write their stories with our students in mind, providing our older students the opportunity to associate their school experiences with potential career paths and life beyond their school years.  In this newsletter we are fortunate to have Imogen Saunders share her own Quintilian experiences with us. Imogen has fond memories of Quintilian from  the early 1990’s.  I encourage families to include their children in reading through the alumni stories.

Click here for Imogen’s full story.

I would like finish by welcoming all of the families that have recently joined the Quintilian School Community.  We trust you will enjoy the learning environment that has been created at Quintilian.
