How to Enrol at Quintilian

We’ve made our enrolment process simple and supportive, so you can feel confident every step of the way.

1. Book a School Tour

The best way to experience Quintilian is to see it in action. Visit our campus, explore our classrooms and outdoor spaces, and meet our teachers and leadership team. You’ll get a genuine feel for our approach to learning and community.

2. Submit an Enrolment Application

After your tour, you can submit an application for your child. Our team is here to guide you through the process and answer any questions along the way.

3. Meet with Our Team

We’ll invite you and your child to meet with us. This is a chance to get to know each other, discuss your child’s needs, and ensure Quintilian is the right fit for your family.

4. Receive an Offer

If a place is available, you’ll receive an offer of enrolment. We’ll provide all the details you need to make your decision.

5. Secure Your Place

Our team will support you through the next steps to ensure a smooth start.

We encourage families to begin the process early, as places for 2027 are limited and some year levels may reach capacity quickly.

Why Families Choose Quintilian

At Quintilian, education is personal, purposeful, and designed to help every child thrive — academically, socially, and emotionally.

Small Class Sizes, Greater Individual Attention

With intentionally small classes, our teachers truly know each child; their strengths, challenges, and potential. This allows for more personalised learning and the support each student needs to grow in confidence.

Inquiry-Based Learning That Sparks Curiosity

Our approach encourages students to ask questions, think critically, and take ownership of their learning. By nurturing curiosity, we help children develop independence, confidence, and a genuine love of learning.

A Connected and Supportive Community

At Quintilian School, we pride ourselves on being part of our local community. We value strong partnerships with families, creating an environment where parents feel involved, informed, and connected to their child’s journey.

A Focus on the Whole Child

We believe success goes beyond academics. At Quintilian, you will find a learning environment where every child is known, valued and nurtured to thrive. We support each child’s emotional wellbeing, creativity, and social development, helping them grow into capable, well-rounded individuals.

Enrolment FAQ

The Basics

When should I apply?

Applications for enrolment beginning in the following calendar year can be submitted at any time prior to the closing date of 30 November. However, we recommend to apply by September for the best chance of securing a place, and as early as possible for high-demand year levels such as Kindy and Pre-Kindy.

Applications may be made at any time for mid-year enrolment, pending available space.

How will I know if my application is successful?

If your child’s application is successful, you will receive a letter of offer that confirms their starting date.

Submission of an application does not guarantee that an offer of enrolment will be made, as some applications may be placed into the waiting pool.

What do I need to supply during enrolment?

Minimum requirements for all applications are a birth certificate and Australian Immunisation History Statement.

Additional documentation requirements may apply depending on your child’s age or circumstances, and will be advised during the enrolment process. These may include school reports, specialist reports, visa notices, or other documents specific to your child’s situation.

Waiting Pool

If your child’s application is still under review, was submitted late, and/or if their year level is at capacity for the requested enrolment date, their application will be placed into our waiting pool.

If your child’s application is in the waiting pool, you will be contacted if a place becomes available.

In order to be placed in the waiting pool, your child’s application must be complete (all application and supporting documents provided), and the application fee paid.

Local Enrolments

  • Depending on age, your child may be invited to attend a short interview with the Principal, or invited for a trial day in their prospective class.
  • Waiting pool applicants will be notified.
  • Successful applicants receive a letter of offer that confirms their starting date, and can pay relevant enrolment fees online.

When making an enquiry please have the following information at hand:

  • Your visa grant notice
  • Expected date of commencement for schooling and duration of stay.
  • Please note that the preferred minimum period of enrolment is one school term (ten weeks). Applicants for a longer enrolment period receive higher priority, and applicants for shorter enrolments will be assessed on a case by case basis.

Upon arrival in Australia, or earlier if you are visiting Perth prior to your relocation, we will offer a tour of the school ahead of your child’s first day.

Please note that Quintilian School is not CRICOS-registered. 500 visa holders may only enrol in certain circumstances. If your child holds a 500 visa, please contact us for a discussion of their eligibility.
