While we follow the Western Australian Curriculum with academic rigour, our expertise lies in delivering that curriculum in a child-centred way that recognises each student as an individual. By understanding their strengths, interests and how they learn best, our experienced educators build the strong foundations every child needs to thrive.

A child’s education is most powerful when it’s a collaboration. We believe parents are essential partners in the learning journey. That’s why parents and other family members are always welcome in the classroom and our children’s education evolves through parents and teachers working as partners. 

We encourage open communication and value the insights you bring about your child. This collaborative approach ensures that the support between home and school is seamless, creating a safe, nurturing environment where students feel known, understood and confident.

At Quintilian, education is viewed as an experience that should be extremely enjoyable for all children. Learning activities are designed to respond to the children’s natural curiosity and desire to make new discoveries, demonstrating the strength of our inquiry learning approach.

Our teachers design learning activities that are engaging and immersive. We respond to a child’s desire to explore by connecting lessons to authentic experiences whether that’s through hands-on investigations in the classroom, an incursion with guest speakers, or an excursion that brings a topic to life.

This is active, structured learning. It’s how we foster confident learners who are motivated and engaged.

With small class sizes, our teachers have the time and insight to provide targeted support. This means achievement is accessible to everyone:

• Remediation is provided gently and effectively when a child needs extra support to build core skills.
• Extension is offered to challenge and deepen understanding for those ready to explore further.
